How to Install kannel software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

kannel software package provides WAP and SMS gateway, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kannel

kannel is installed in your system.

Make ensure the kannel package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kannel *

You will get with kannel package name, version, architecture and description in a table
